Sales & Marketing Assistant

Job description: KYW Newsradio, one of America's most-respected radio stations, is looking for a self-starting, energetic individual to service the KYW Newsradio Sales Department. The right candidate will work closely with the sales team, the General Sales Manager, and Local Sales Managers. If you are looking to get into the business of broadcasting, this is a great entry-level position. The following characteristics are necessary for this position:• College degree in related field• Strong communications skills• Computer skills ---PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook• Well organized• Ability to multi-task• Good problem solving skills and creativityResponsibilities Include, but are not limited to:• Preparing sales proposals and presentations• Running various reports for General Sales Manager & Local Sales Managers• Organizing bi-monthly Client Breakfasts• Assisting the traffic and continuity departments with various duties• Maintaining all sales files and databases• Processing purchase orders/invoices• Maintaining client databases• Assisting at off-site station promotional events • Assisting Account Executives with daily business—internet research, overnight mail, client services and support A division of CBS Corporation, CBS RADIO operates 147 radio stations, the majority of which are in the nation's top 50 markets.
