Scheduling Coordinator

PRIMARY DUTIES

Produce monthly grids, embedding spots within each programming hour on 3 of our network stations.Consult and monitor the quarterly/monthly/weekly programming grid schedules of each network incorporating schedule changes and updates as notified.Request air master(s) on DVD from the library using the WinMLS database following established procedures.Write appropriate, compelling, short call to action copy following established guidelines.Prepare first drafts of monthly web bug throw schedules for assigned networks.REQUIREMENTS

 

·  A Bachelor of Science or Arts in Communication degree with major in business communication, journalism, speech communication, or technical communication across digital, written, and visual platforms.

·  Minimum of 3+ years relevant work experience, including 2 or more years online work experience.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The post holder will research digital assets on all NETWORK's web sites, including video, audio, photography, text, images and illustrations, etc. Prepare and write possible communication messages for on-air web bug promotions.

 

Coordination of Direct Response Television (DRT) business and oversight of all scheduling for division-wide on-screen bugs for retail, wholesale, licensing, and DM. 

 

Liaises with Programming, Web site content producers, CD&P, Promotion, E-Commerce, Marketing and Analytics teams to help implement, measure, optimize and communicate web related On-Air promotional activities.
