* This position calls for demonstrated experience in all phases of software development and support. We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for coding the Web Pub Portal application per the detailed design.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Design, develop and deliver applications to include: design and development of source code and test plans, code and module design, development and testing, application debugging, design and implementation of code that follows efficient design techniques and meets the intent of the design of the application.
* Effectively manage day-to-day tasks to effectively meet the deliverables and schedule of a large, complex software development project.
* Lend support to various business and technology teams as necessary during design, development and delivery to ensure solid, scalable, robust solutions.
* Be able to clearly communicate complex technical designs and solutions in clear, concise and easily readable format by both technical and non-technical personnel.
* Communicate effectively in both verbal (i.e. day-to-day discussions, team meetings) and written (requirements and design specifications) form, as well as have an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communications.
* Accurately assess the risks associated with each solution design / project.
* Perform additional job-related duties as requested.

Skills:
* Must have Solid understanding of Object Oriented programming
* Thorough working knowledge of the application design and development processes, methodologies and their direct implementation to applications projects.
* Prefer experience with nUnit
* Prefer working knowledge of Test Drive Development Methodology
* Prefer solid understanding of RDBMS, Metadata and general database concepts
* Strong verbal English skills

* Must have Strong programming, code development, code debugging and testing skills, troubleshooting skills
* Must have Worked in an Enterprise Architecture Environment to include
1. .NET Framework
2. Web Services and XML processing
3. C#
* Must have Knowledge of Internet/Browser functionality - Cookies, HTTP requests, Redirects, etc.
* Must have strong design and development experience with C#, ASP.NET and .NET framework technologies
* Must understand and have experience extending .NET framework to include Http Handlers and Http Modules
* Must understand the design and development of State Management
* Experience designing and building Custom Control Development
* Experience with client side coding such as JavaScript, DHTML, CSS


Education / Experience:
* Microsoft .NET Certifications preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
* At least 6 (six) years of experience in software development using object-oriented languages
* At least 5 (five) years of experience in software development using .NET
* Preferred: Master's degree in a similar / related field
