Senior Proposal Writer – Pacific Palisades, CA

 

Leonie Industries, LLC, a young, progressive, successful leader in the deployment of global media analysis services seeks a dynamic, self-directed team player with major government proposal writing experience to join our business development team as our Senior Proposal Writer. This position will have responsibility for the Company’s proposal submissions.

 

Reporting to the Director, Research & Business Development, the Senior Proposal Writer will be responsible for preparation of proposals to be submitted by the Company, primarily to the federal government. Responsibilities include developing requirements matrices, outlining the proposal structure, ensuring all requirements are covered, and then drafting, editing, formatting, and designing proposals while communicating themes in a persuasive business manner. The Senior Proposal Writer may also support other business development efforts such as developing marketing language, presentations and graphics.

 

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications or similar field

· Minimum 6 years experience in writing proposals, with specific experience writing major government proposals

· Must be well versed in federal government acquisition process, and be familiar with concepts and practices in all areas of proposal writing for government clients

· Superior written and verbal communication skills, to include presentation and facilitation skills

· Excellent computer skills with a focus on word processing, with graphic design experience a plus
