Senior Real Estate Accountant

Job Summary:
Responsible for the ongoing accounting activity of facilities and real estate department operations and project management. Will include accounts payable, account receivable, general ledger, budgets and reforecast, cash flow projections, asset transfers, monthly operations reporting and other projects.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and Monitor payment to vendors using Timberline

2. Responsible for monthly asset transfer to divisions

3. Prepare monthly Cash Flow Reports for Corporate and Turner

4. Assist with budget preparation, reforecast and monthly reporting

5. Responsible for monthly billing & collections of subleases and Assist and backup project accountant.

6. Misc. other projects and accounting activity; deal with vendor inquires, compute pantry allocations, prepare lien waivers, review contracts and certificate of Insurance. Prepare diversity reporting.

Education and Certifications:
4 year degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience

Experience
* Must have excellent organizational, communication and written skills.
* Also excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to prioritize work.
* Knowledge of Timberline software, property management or project accounting is preferred.

Specialized Knowledge
* Accounting practices and principles.
* Microsoft Office and accounting software such as Timberline.

Skills:
Excel, Word, and Power Point knowledge. Self starter with the ability to prioritized work load. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
