Our innovations have led to Emmy® Awards and hundreds of filings for US patents as we introduce new must-have technologies into the TV viewing experience.  We make a commitment to challenge, inspire and reward the people who make the DIRECTV vision come to life -  Come join our winning team! Will champion the online customer experience on DIRECTV.com, as well as drive the achievement of key performance metrics, through the production and development of multiple concurrent enhancement and optimization projects.  Will manage and maintain site areas post-launch, not only ensuring they are kept up to date, but proactively identifying opportunities for future enhancements.  Specific responsibilities include:Documenting and maintaining detailed business requirements. Partnering with Information Architects, IT Project Managers and Business Analysts to produce functional/technical requirements and specifications. Working with the Creative, Product Development and Online Marketing teams to deliver a world class DIRECTV.com Creating and maintaining creative project briefs and production schedules and ensuring that production teams meet brief and schedule requirements throughout project lifecycles. Taking ownership of DIRECTV.com site “products” by meeting and partnering with internal business owners to plan for their requirements and communicate enhancements and changes. Assisting with copy, HTML formatting, layout modifications and image editing. Routing project materials and creative assets for stakeholder and legal approval. Conducting QA/Test and post launch verification.This position offers immense growth potential for individuals who can see the big picture and value of long-term enhancements while providing day-to-day management of multiple on-going projects and balancing the needs and priorities of both.   Requires five or more years web producer / product manager / web project manager experience in large-scale, fast-paced agency and/or in-house marketing or creative services environments.  Must have a strong background utilizing, managing and manipulating content management systems and templates to publish to the web (Interwoven TeamSite and ATG Content Administration preferred) and a hands-on working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, JavaScript, JSP-based websites, Microsoft Project and Visio.  Previous consulting, experience utilizing web analytics tools (such as HitBox and Omniture) to create traffic, conversion and usage reports and a degree in business, marketing, communications, computer science or related field is preferred. Candidates must have the proven ability to get things done through existing production processes, as well as the vision/initiative to help establish new processes and improve existing ones and a meticulous attention to detail and for completing projects from end-to-end within aggressive timelines.  Must be highly adept at working in a dynamic environment, managing frequently changing priorities, working under tight schedules and balancing multiple, sometimes conflicting, priorities.  In addition, Must possess excellent leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical and organizational skills along with the ability to work independently and as a team member.
