CITY: Englewood Cliffs STATE: New JerseyCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):This person: Will be responsible for maximizing revenues and profit per page on iVillage.com and YourTotalHealth.com Will be responsible for developing, running and updating an analytical model that ensures we maximize the profit per page displayed on the site (banners, custom solutions, text ads, 3rd party rev shares, etc.) and in partner deals Will also be tasked by the GM to manage analytical projects across the organization in areas like Sales Solutions, Video and Partner DealsThe Sr. Director Revenue Optimization will need to work closely across different departments:With Sales team and Ad Operations: Validate pricing assumptions on straight media and custom solutions in the context of the desired margins for the business Provide guidance on expected traffic and conversion levels and other performance metrics based on historical metricsWith Audience Development and Marketing: Develop a deep understanding of available traffic levers (SEO, SEM, newsletters, touts, others) and their expected performance and cost (either directly or cost of opportunity)With Editorial and Product: Develop a deep understanding of profitability performance of real estate in the page and recommend alternative uses that generate higher path lengths and margins With all the above, play a key role in the weekly revenue and performance pacing meetings to closely monitor metrics as delivered to client and iteratively optimize usage of all audience levers.Qualifications/Requirements: Undergraduate degree with minimum 2 years experience in a digital business or project-based analytical environment (consulting or investment banking) Eligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered (note job#: 817654).
