The Income Tracking department at Sony/ATV Music Publishing is seeking to fill the position of Sr. Income Tracking Analyst. The preferred candidate will have at least five years of music publishing or equivalent industry experience.

The Sr. Income Tracking Analyst will have the following responsibilities:

* Lead in the discovery and recovery of unpaid or underpaid royalties in the US and Canada ¡V This includes royalty line and license detail analysis across multiple income types, such as mechanical, digital (online and mobile), performance, synchronization and others
* Work with Licensing department to help ensure accurate license entry in the US and Canada ¡V This includes but is not limited to the reviews of controlled composition clauses as outlined in Artist and/or Producer agreements, corresponding with US & Canadian licensing agents, working with electronically provided license data files
* Prepare detailed quarterly comparison reports ranging concerning collection recovery, digital sales, and royalty source receipts analysis
* Monthly analysis of checks both processed and received from third party licensing agent
* Perform deal tracking on various licensees to ensure terms of their respective deals are being upheld
* Work with Global Royalty Center to ensure data integrity of royalty postings
* Support upper management on various research and discovery projects
* Assist in the review of computer systems, reporting errors and any maintenance issues to appropriate departments


A qualified candidate must possess the following skills:

* Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing and meeting various deadlines
* Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude while working with multiple departments and outside contacts
* Highly organized and detail oriented
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong analytical ability
* High proficiency of various computer applications such as MS Excel and MS Access, with the ability to quickly learn programs that work with large volumes of data
