Nielsen Consumer Panel Services, encompassing the Homescan & Spectra services, provides world-class consumer-centric segmentation & targeting solutions to help clients identify high-value consumers, uncover new opportunities, and execute marketing and sales efforts at the store level to maximize their return on investment.

The Senior Product Manager's primary objective will be to grow Nielsens core consumer panel services business with FMCG retailers through new retailer solutions as well as retailer-endorsed solutions for manufacturers. Specific responsibilities will include: Working closely with the retail client service team and clients to understand key business issues and opportunities and then document and translate to market requirements Lead cross functional teams, including client service, development, R&D, and sister company representatives, to develop and launch new products and services Develop and maintain commercialization policies for the core Nielsen consumer information products with respect to retailers Act as product expert for client service and with clients, including product demos, client and client service presentations Overseeing the development of marketing collateral and assist with communication with and training of client service for your products and servicesQualificationsRequired" 5-7 years product management or client service experience in a market research or CPG company or in professional services organization with a focus on the CPG industry" Familiarity and experience with the daily and strategic business issues and challenges facing CPG retailers" Track record of launching new products/services, managing marketing mix elements and ongoing product lifecycle managementPreferred" Direct experience working for or with CPG retailers," Background in the use of consumer information. " Experience creating successful marketing plans and materials, including positioning statements, sell sheets, promotion and pricing
