Stock Plan Administrator / 7415

Position Description:

Position Summary:Administer Discovery’s equity based compensation programs including the DAP plan and other equity based compensation programs.Responsibilities:1. Maintaining participant data (e.g. new hires, terminations, etc.) and ensuring all participant stock plan transactions are correctly processed and settled in a timely manner (DAP cash outs, Option Grants, exercises etc.)2. Work closely with Finance for reporting including valuation, overhang, section 16 and Disqualifying Dispositions3. Assist Finance, and Compensation and other HR professionals with evaluation of Equity Programs and the ultimate administration and delivery of these plans4. Work closely with payrolls in various countries to ensure tax accounting and compliance5. Administer other reward programs requiring close payroll integration including the employee recognition program6. Complete surveys and assist with compiling benchmark data for equity plansRequirements: * 2-5 years experience of increasing responsibility in Equity Administration of a Global and Multi-state organization or consulting firm with similar clientsExperienced in all regulatory aspects of Equity Administration* Strong emphasis on FAS123 and Proxy/SEC reporting* Expert on marketplace trends and internal processes* Strong Accounting and financial skills* 4 year college degree in finance or accounting preferred* CEP Level 1 preferred* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
