Traffic Coordinator for Comcast Spotlight in Seattle

Schedule and ensure commercial advertisements air on cable networks per a client's contract.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

- Input the titles of client advertisements into database and enter the instructions for ad airing on the appropriate cable network, zone, time, and according to the ad priority rating.
- Responsible for maximizing billing opportunities by evaluating sold and scheduled inventory and adjusting commercial placement manually on a daily basis.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with Sales Department regarding the status of a client's advertising schedule, including possible commercial spots that were not scheduled or broadcast as instructed. Revise and replace instructions for advertising broadcast schedules when necessary.
- Send final schedules to Insertion Department.
- Performs an Order Verification report and reconciles against Advertising contract. Reviews and manages unverified spots.
- Assists in maintenance of Master Client Files
- Handles billing inquiries from Account Executives
- Facilitates communication with Insertion Department, Clients, Ad Agencies, Account Executives regarding late or missing tapes.
- Performs month-close update procedures.
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance is required. Must be available for overtime or extended hours, as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Requirements
Experience:
- 1-2 years media and/or traffic experience including experience in a customer service setting.
Education:
- High school or equivalent

Preferred Skills/Qualifications
- Strong detail orientation.
- Ability to analyze and process a large amount of information to meet daily deadlines
- Media Traffic software knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer skills necessary to include Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Windows, Outlook.
