CITY: New York STATE: New YorkCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):To creatively direct in 3 key areas: creative leadership, strategic leadership and people leadershipCREATIVE LEADERSHIP Provide creative vision and leadership towards the overall brand mission for Oxygen's in-house creative departments and external agencies Develop innovative creative strategies that support all Oxygen Media areas (including, Consumer Marketing, Trade Marketing, Communications, and brand extensions) across all platforms (including on-air, print, online and events)Accountable for development and execution of all creative work associated with Oxygen's brand and programmingLead and inspire work that ensures the brand continues to be bold, risk-taking and uniqueRepresent the face of Oxygen within the Creative communitySTRATEGIC LEADERSHIPServe as a key member of Oxygen's Marketing team, contributing to the overall strategy by driving the image of the brand and developing a cohesive and innovative look and tone for all Oxygen initiativesWork closely with company's research function to evaluate, using audience statistics and information to make key decisions related to brand promise, show programming, etc. Work closely with Integrated Marketing and Ad Sales to understand business objectives, the competitive landscape, and develop break-through opportunities for our partnersPEOPLE LEADERSHIPManage a large team of creative and production personnel across multiple platforms. Build an environment in which people are inspired to take risks and achieve creative excellence and become industry leadersClearly communicate goals, strategy and tactics of each project to the creative teamDevelop and utilize relationships with outside vendors to help achieve and set the highest creative standards in the industryQualifications/Requirements:Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in the media industryMinimum 7 years of experience in a Creative position in a similar size media organization as an industry leaderMust have creative experience across multiple platforms (including print, on-air and online)Eligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered (note job#: 816770).
