VP Marketing

maniaTV is seeking an exceptional marketing executive to continue to expand our audience and relevancy to the 18 – 34 year old consumer market as well as expand our prominence advertisers, agencies and partners. The VP of Marketing will be the senior leader in our marketing team and will deliver results across all of our marketing efforts for consumer and business based marketing.  Specifically, you will create and manage the strategy and lead the execution of a plan to significantly scale our audience for each of our shows.  As such you will have great influence in product conception, development and delivery.  Concurrently, you will be responsible for communicating our differentiated branded entertainment advertising offer to agencies, brands directly and the entertainment, Internet industries as a whole.  This position reports to the CEO.

 

Ideally, you will have a agency background with experience in both traditional television and new media on the Internet.  You will have deep experience in creating an audience for a product/show, developing a relationship with that audience that keeps them coming back for more.  To do so you must have all of the traditional marketing arrows in your quiver and you must be well-versed in viral Internet consumer marketing with deep feel for the subtlety and nuance of social media.  You rely on brilliance more than big budgets.  The best example of this is an accomplished record of building addicted audiences. 

 

You should be a strong project manager and one of those rare people with both the creative spark and detail orientation.  You are a results oriented entrepreneurial minded individual.

 

Working with the sales team, the programming team, brand creation & management people and providers, business development, as well as the website development makes this role exceptionally central to all we do.  That should excite you.

 

10 Years+ experience in Agency, Media, Entertainment and/or Internet industry.  Degree a must.  Advanced degree preferred.
