Video Subtitling Technician: DVD HD Blu-ray Mobile Digital Cinema - GRAVEYARD

SDI Media creates DVD, HD-DVD/Blu-ray, Digital Cinema, Broadband and Mobile subtitles in over 50 languages for major motion pictures and television shows. We are currently seeking a Subtitle Delivery Technician, who will work to prepare language files, render them to proper delivery specifications, and perform quality control tasks to ensure timely delivery and a superior product. This full-time position is a graveyard shift in our Culver City office. Maintain and improve various support systems to ensure that deliveries are met Ability to work in a PC-based, extremely detail-oriented, time-sensitive environment Must operate a computer and connected network drives in a skilled, efficient manner Effectively navigate and manipulate internal files in an organized, scheduled fashion Strong background and understanding of Windows directory structure and file management Highly developed Windows skills and experience with high-pressure, deadline-driven scenarios An interest in audio/video technologies, especially timeline-driven postproduction Demonstrated competency in the execution of large, dynamic, complex tasks
