VideoTape Librarian

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:Barcode, input, and log tapes into MediaWorks database with speed and accuracy.Handle frequent "customer service" interaction with producers and editorsCue tapes to appropriate footage at manager's direction, sometimes under extremely fast and strict deadlineHigh level of multi-tasking during demanding hours of the morning shiftWorking with tape stock in the following capacities: re-shelve tapes with extreme accuracy, inventory of tape stock, relocating and retrieving tapes to and from storage facility and tape library, find/locate misplaced tapes, and erase tapes using degauss machine.Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience working in News or Entertainment environment or other similar fast-paced production environment.High School Diploma required.

Eligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered (note job#:816474)Must pass celebrity visual test with score higher than 80%Must be available to work varied and rotating shift of 10-hour days, either Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday, day and swing shifts and occasional graveyard shift. Saturdays may be required from time to time, depending on news cycles and breaking news. Some OT may be requiredMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation.Must be able to carry full bins of beta tapes and be able to stand and stoop while shelving tapesMust be able to provide references from previous employersMust be 18 years or olderMust have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United StatesDesired:
