CITY: New York STATE: New YorkCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):Web Developer is responsible for front-end development and publishing content across Bravo websites by working closely with various groups throughout the organizationWork closely with creative and production teams to both implement and suggest/experiment with new and interesting ways to use CSS and JavaScript to push the creative boundaries of our work, while enforcing and maintaining strict HTML and CSS coding standardsContribute to daily effort of publishing new content including development and management of content rich show sitesBuild out web pages to exactly match design compsProduce creative online concepts for show sites and web-exclusive contentRedesign existing sites to maximize broadband user experienceAdhere to usability and user interface standards Manage content from a variety of sources (producers, designers, copy editors) Quality assures and maintains all aspects of assigned websitesQualifications/Requirements:Basic Qualificiations:Bachelor's degree or higher Minimum 3 years of online production experience with HTML/CSS, Javascript and XMLMinimum 3 years experience with PhotoshopMinimum 2 years of experience with Flash necessaryEligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered (note job#: 8123941)Willingness to work overtime, and on weekends with short noticeMust be willing to work at the station in New YorkMust be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigationMust have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United StatesMust be 18 years or olderDesired:Ability to hand-code excellent HTML and CSS for cross-browser, cross-platform display.
