Duties will include but are not limited to: producing hourly news material for the Web site; story selection and editing;  coordinating stories with station charge editors; customizing pages; creating and editing audio podcasts, video and digital photographs; conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas; improving site layout and usability; managing user-generated content; assisting with scheduling, attending editorial and station meetings; coordinating hyper-local news Web content and working with Web site host to build new features and dynamic pages.The Web Producer will cover a daily M-F shift and must be willing to cover breaking news and special events when needed which may mean working flexible hours, off-hours and some weekends.Qualifications: college degree, 2-4 years experience creating and publishing content to a frequently updated Web site; solid news judgment; proficiency with most or all of the following: HTML, XML, Flash CSS, Photoshop; Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere Familiarity with Web media metrics and tools and CMS tools; perform other related duties as assigned.Applicants must be strong writers familiar with AP writing style and able to work under tight deadlines.  Ability to multi-task and work under pressure are musts.A successful writing test is mandatory.
