CITY: Englewood Cliffs, NJ STATE: New JerseyCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):Staff Management: Provides day-to-day management of iVillage Your Total Health Editorial team. Metrics/Engagement: Works with executive team to set editorial metrics and goals. Monitors metrics with the team to ensure engagement and user satisfaction. Makes editorial programming adjustments based on metrics. Project Management: Oversees projects within the Health area, working with key leaders in the group to prioritize and schedule work. Editorial Direction and Voice: Work with Editor-in-Chief to set and maintain editorial voice. Oversees the development of compelling packages, products and copy. Edits content as necessary. Oversees Network-wide projects with Managing Editor Content Partnerships: Oversee content partners, ranging from third party content sources to non-profit organizations. Identify and evaluate potential partners.Original Content Development: Oversee the development of original content development, ranging from products such as slideshows and galleries to articles to polls and toolsiVillage Your Total Health vision: Partners with Editor-in-Chief on executing strategic vision and goals, helping to refine the vision and build on that vision through enhanced programming ideas. Editorial Calendar: Work with iVillage Your Total Health team to set editorial calendarSales & Marketing Coordination/Liaison: Serves as iVillage Your Total Health editorial lead who works closely with sales to vet important sales requests and brainstorm new editorial ideas for strategic sales opportunities. Works with marketing team on strategic projects to increase brand awareness and drive traffic.Competitive Editorial Analysis: Stays abreast of competitive site content, features, strengths and weaknesses.
