Account Executive - Latin America, CPG - Chicago

Account Executive - CPG - Latin America (Portuguese Speaking)Mintel International Group, a 35-year-old company with group headquarters in the UK, and US headquarters in Chicago, is an international leader in the provision of market research and competitive intelligence. We are seeking to hire a South American Sales Executive to continue expanding our client base in the consumer packaged goods sector.

This exciting opportunity is for accomplished, results-driven, exceptional sales professional with plenty of energy and a positive attitude. You will have established relationships and experience in selling to the consumer packaged goods sector. In addition to being an exceptional individual sales performer, the ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be a team player that wants to maximize his or her contribution to the team's success. You will also need to show justification of excellent sales results and have a reputation for being the best.

The candidate will be responsible for selling new business into an assigned territory within South America, for creating a strategy to target key clients and for delivering exceptional sales results against budget. Your selling style needs to be highly polished, professional and consultative. You will be experienced in selling to substantial corporate businesses and in gaining credibility for excellence in your field. You will need to travel 50% of the month and you will be responsible for your own schedule. Your clients will be Senior and C level Executives within dynamic and progressive organizations.

The successful candidate will be substantially rewarded with a base salary and open-ended commission. We also offer excellent benefits package and fully expensed travel.

Qualifications: Minimum 3 years proven face to face sales results at the executive level Consultative selling style combined with excellent closing skills Experience selling within or to the CPG sector Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong business development background, with proven success in establishing and expanding client relationships, and showing excellence in maximizing account potential. Highly polished, professional and consultative selling style and strong business ethic Bachelor's degree required Bilingual English/Portuguese required, Spanish also preferred
