JOB DESCRIPTION: An F & A Account Manager will drive revenue growth within the Chicago finance and accounting verticle through account penetration and saturation.  We are looking for an experienced sales person with diverse experience in the finance, accounting, and/or staffing industries to drive revenue and account growth in the Chicago finance and accounting market.  We are looking for a competitive, self-motivated individual who has the drive to succeed and contribute to our next level of growth. This is a great position for someone eager to further their career in sales and business development and have the opportunity for advancement within a 400 million dollar company. At Apex, an Account Manager’s primary responsibilities are to produce and lead. They will be expected to use their current contacts in the finance and accounting field to gain market share and serve as a mentor to current Apex Account Managers selling finance and accounting.  In conjunction with the Chicago team and senior management, they are responsible for winning the majority of proposals presented, and generating qualified job requirements from top companies in their assigned territory. They are held accountable for business development and sales performance by delivering qualified candidates to fulfill job requisitions. In order to achieve this they are responsible for building strong relationships with hiring managers and other client representatives in the finance and accounting industries. We are looking for that go-to sales person to provide their expertise in the relationship building sales field. We are looking for someone to provide: • Proven sales experience with the development of new clients into long lasting customers • Ability to establish professional relationships with top F & A managers through lunch meetings and on site visits • Experience prospecting and building a network for new business opportunities and referrals • Cold call experience • Negotiating skills Additionally we continue to train you the skills necessary to prepare you for your next role.
