The Account Manager implements sales strategies by initiating face-to-face contact regularly with existing clients, assessing and understanding their compliance concerns and objections. This position defines solutions and makes recommendations at the appropriate level of the customers’ organization to meet the customer’s goals and objectives while ensuring a high level of compliance to meet the Company’s sales and service objectives. This sales role ensures the continual revenue stream through participation in the preparation and execution of sales plans and campaigns, business plans, and product development plans. The position also builds relationships and initiates customer contact to create opportunities to sustain existing business and grow new business. To accomplish the objectives of the position the Account Manager works with customers a minimum of 70% of the time, covering the district by car. The position works with the field sales and service team and completes work through use of the managed schedule, multi-tasking, and time management to ensure the successful achievement of the district’s revenue and business goals. . PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY - To generate revenue thru the sale of reprocessed medical and surgical devices.The Account Manager will also work close with other field service reps in the collection, packing and shipping of devices from the hospital to our reprocessing facility. REQUIREMENTS · Clinical background (nurse, surgical technician) .· Medical device sales/service experience preferred· Proven success in achieving aggressive business objectives. · Previous experience contributing to account growth and portfolio management.· The ability to leverage knowledge of customer order profiles to conduct program reviews and expand business to multiple product lines.· Plan, manage and implement major projects while prioritizing and organizing a diversified workload.· Conduct in service training with physicians, surgeons, nurses and operating room staff.· Results oriented, self starter with the ability to deliver high quality service and support to internal and external customers.· Excellent customer service and time management skills.· Good presentation and public speaking skills.· Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.· Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to integrate information.· Road Warrior – 70% travel throughout the district. EDUCATIONMINIMUM 2 year college degree [prefer Bachelor’s] in business or related field or medical certification. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS· Annual Salary $45,000 paid out Biweekly.· Annual Bonus Potential of $20,000 paid out monthly.· Mileage reimbursement.· Excellent benefits effective on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.· Flex Plan after 90 days of employment.· 401K with a 4% employer match after 90 days of employment.
