Accounting Manager

 Accounting Manager needed immediately for Orange County company.



 



Job Functions:Provide management and direction to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Job Maintenance, and Collections staff. Interfaces with other department managers as necessary regarding AP, AR and Collection issues. Manages accounting functions and preparation of departmental reports. Recommends, establishes and maintains accounting practices to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations. Ensures that accounting transactions for areas of responsibility are initiated, recorded and reported in accordance with company policies and procedures. Review and approve all transaction accruals. Provides assistance in the preparation of the monthly financial statements related to areas of responsibility as needed. Supervises and trains departmental staff. Manage special projects as assigned by Controller.



Qualifications:

 5 to 7 years experience in Accounting with previous supervisory experience.

 A Bachelor’s degree in accounting of business, or equivalent experience.

 Intermediate to advanced Excel, Word, Power Point, Access skills.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 Good project management skills.

 Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.

 Adherence to department/company policies and procedures.

 Ability to function as a team player.

MAS experience a plus.
