Accountant / Administrative Assistant

Provides full and diversified accounting support to key members of management and company staff at branch locations.  This professional position utilizes broad and comprehensive experience, skills and knowledge in organizational policies, procedures and practices. Also serves as a facilitator who will coordinate deadlines and works with others to meet project goals.

 

ResponsibilitiesCorporate bank reconcialiations. Compiles financial information and assists in the preparation of reports. Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Managing and preparing documents including formatting and editing reports, handling correspondence and other documents from draft stage to completion.  Working as a liaison between senior management and staff to facilitate work and accomplish objectives in a collaborative effort.  Occasional receptionist relief.

 

Requirements

 Must have significant experience working with Excel, and other relative softwares. Must be able to understand the products and services that the company provides and add value by working well with internal customers (branch management and staff).  This position also requires good interpersonal skills, the ability to take initiative, ability to prioritize projects, and the ability to work with confidential data and information. Three to five years of Prior Accounting experience required.
