WARNER BROS. DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION was founded in October 2005 to manage the worldwide electronic distribution streams of the Studio's product over existing, new and emerging digital platforms, including pay-per-view, electronic sell-through, video-on-demand, subscription-video-on-demand, wireless and more. WBDD also oversees the Studio's worldwide digital strategy, partnerships in digital services and emerging new clients and business activities in the digital space.
WBDD is charged with managing the Studio's retail and consumer transition of product produced by Warner Home Video and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment from a purely packaged distribution scheme to one that supports both packaged and digital distribution, as well as both standard and high definition formats.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks an Administrator, Operations for the Video On Demand department.
Position is responsible for the WBDD Master Release Calendar – Create and maintain in order to manage time-sensitive distribution of content and materials to clients. This applies to both Film and TV, Domestically and Internationally. WHVDirect.com – Upkeep, maintenance and technical troubleshooting of WBDD sections of current WHVDirect.com -Domestically and Internationally. Client Responsibilities – Manage WHVDirect WBDD user database including ongoing communication, distribution and registration processes, Domestically and Internationally. SAP / WHVDirect.com Facilitator - Work with WBDD Ops coordinators to manage timeline process for steady flow of all digital asset deliveries and ensure data integrity, including WBDD metadata/graphics flow from SAP R3 / CPM & MARS to WHVDirect.com; Domestically and Internationally. WHVDirect eScreener Admin – Receive WBDD eScreener requests from Sales / Marketing, handle requests to ADS, provide eScreener access to Digital users and test eScreener before roll outs, Domestically and Internationally. SAP Shopping Cart Maintainer for WBDD Operations items. Master Order Scheduler – Will be the link between Master Release Schedule, Tech Ops and GDMX on customer orders. Performs special projects as assigned.
Requirements
BA/BS Degree in Business Technology is preferred. Minimum of 2 year previous experience in digital asset/archives for entertainment and/or online company. Must have project management experience and ability to multi-task – strong time management skills. Some administrative experience required. Ability to interact with clients at various levels. Must have understanding of consumer product merchandising. Must have understanding of Digital business, including electronic/ internet download, Cable/PPV rental. Proven ability managing clients and vendor relationships. Strong problem solving skills required. Experience utilizing technical tools and new technologies. Must have experience using online/web tools and interfaces. Strong systems, including Business Objects, skills. Strong Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator knowledge preferred. Understanding of the internet and internet usage. Knowledge of basic spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage. Knowledge of report, letter, etc. format. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; Access, Word, Excel, Outlook. Must be tactful with personnel at all levels of the company and customer. Must be able to prepare clear and concise reports. Must maintain organized, current and accurate records and files. Must have specific expertise of Microsoft Access, Excel, Power Point, FTP Clients, HTML, Win Zip. A general interest and knowledge of many entertainment media, specifically in the Digital Operations area. In addition to job duties, individual must be a good communicator and team player. This person must be the type to take initiative and not be afraid to ask questions. Departmental duties can change at any time so flexibility is a necessary trait.
