Advertising & Media Supervising Associate - Americas Communication & Marketing - 00IAA

The Advertising and Media Supervising Associate is responsible for managing and fulfilling all local area advertising requests. This includes developing local ad templates and supervising the adaptation and customization of ads. The individual is responsible for managing the legal review of all advertising as assisting the Creative Design Development (CDD) Specialty Leader on a variety of projects. Responsibilities Responsible for managing all local area ad requests includes advising clients on appropriate ads, supervising a designer to re-size the ad for a specific publication and making sure any customizations requested by the internal client are made to the ad. Consult with internal clients on revising their proposed advertising to meet visual identity and legal guidelines. Manage the creative rotation for all advertising, making sure the appropriate ads run in the publications and online web site. Develop the Marketing Information Template which is used to brief the advertising agency on a new project. Ensure that all advertising supports our visual identity in the external marketplace. Obtain General Counsel Office (GCO) approval for all ads. Direct external advertising agency in developing local area ad templates for occasions such as charity, promotional or philanthropic events. Review all ads that are submitted for Standard Communication Organization and Retrieval (SCORE) approval by the local areas. Perform monthly competitive analysis of advertising. Manage the firm's Holiday Cards development, printing and ordering process. Drive the efficient use of resources within CDD, Americas Communications and Marketing (ACM), and the firm; direct and work with these resources as well as third party vendors; confirm that completed work meets high standards of quality. Comply in a timely manner with firm, ACM, and CDD standards and procedures including, but not limited to, visual identity (branding), approvals (SCORE), project management, billing, and time tracking. Ability to perform under pressure and meet publication deadlines often requiring same day turn around. The incumbent will act as a business advisor to clients, project managers, producers, and other project requesters on the most effective approaches and methods of implementation to achieve their strategic goals via the functional areas within CDD. The incumbent should possess the ability to: recognize potential issues and make decisions throughout a project that balance the need to meet a deadline and still meet the original requirements of the project, identify opportunities for repurposing content for additional audiences or to add convenience for the consumption of the message by the target audience. Receives general supervision and is competent to work independently within area of expertise. Review of work generally occurs at longer intervals. Some travel is required and project work, especially requires the person to be flexible and frequently work well beyond a standard work day.To qualify, candidates must have:a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience approximately 5+ years as a marketing communications professional advertising agency experience a plus strong project management, team building and interpersonal communication skills familiar with the advertising development process proficiency with firm and department standard technology including Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, and InternetNY-New YorkOH-Cleveland
