Alarm Account Support Representive

Basic Function:

 

Act as a liaison between Vector Security, Inc and Michael’s Loss Prevention.  Support Loss Prevention and Safety Personnel in updating and maintaining department databases and files.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

Store Alarm Systems
Administer and coordinate the alarm systems service and installation process. Update EDS information for all company locations.  Reveiw and analyze store alarm exception reporting. Ensure all alarm permits are renewed as required.

 



Service

Act as liaison between Michaels Stores Inc. and Vector Security ensuring compliance to all company requirements and service response time lines. Oversee and coordinate Vector Security’s service call program for all new and existing company locations. Review and manager service call reporting. Follow up on all service work orders over 4 days old. Review monthly invoices from Vector Security for accuracy.

 

 

New Store InstallationsUpdate store database with new store information.  Maintain calendars and ensure Vector Security compliance to all deadlines, this will require close contact with the assigned Vector Security Project Manager.  Participate in new store conference calls and ensure that any Vector Security installed system such as burglar alarm systems, CCTV system, and fire alarm systems are installed within deadlines and functioning properly. Work with the Project Manager assigned to new installations to ensure all deadlines are met.  Create and maintain all store files complete with alarm monitoring and installation contracts, floor plans, construction memoranda, and any other pertinent information for all stores installed by Vector Security. Act as liaison between the Michaels Loss Prevention department and Vector Security.

 

Experience:Call center and data entry experience preferred. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.  Experience in the security field preferred.
