Assistant Community Manager

The Assistant Community Manager position is primarily responsible for assisting the managers at two locations (Manufactured Home Communities) in Southern California.  

 

The Assistant Community Manager position is also responsible for assuming the Community Manager responsibilities at various property locations to cover for vacations or other absences by the community manager.   



The Assistant Community Manager position is a full-time training position for future placement as a Community Manager in the California portfolio.

 

ResponsibilitiesManagement Support and Customer Service Support the community manager with administrative and management duties Work closely with residents to ensure positive resident and community relations (ensure resident satisfaction) Assist with the production and distribution of monthly newsletter and other resident communication pieces   Participate in resolving issues regarding customer complaints Assist with the move-in process for new residents including application review, lease signing, rules review, and welcoming Collect rent and post deposit detail Assist manager with delinquency process Provide assistance to maintain required records and files Support the enforcement of community rules and regulations Assist with the daily inspection of community to assess curb appeal and potential health & safety hazards Support the space-by-space review process at homesites   Report accidents and emergencies immediately and file appropriate incident reports Other duties as assigned

SkillsCustomer service attitude Management experience Self Motivated and Adaptive Strong verbal and written communication skills (be able to communicate clearly) Computer-literate including demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows applications: Microsoft Office software, and internet

 

QualificationsHS or equivalent (GED) Prior property management experience is Preferred  Bi-lingual (Spanish) is Preferred Must have dependable transportation (and valid Drivers License and insurance) Strong organizational, administrative and clerical skills and familiarity with office procedures Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Able to lift at least 50 lbs.

 

LocationSplit assignment between two communities in Chino and Ontario, CA.
