Assistant Operations Manager

Description: A  1.2 Billion Dollar Business to Business Products and Services ( Paneling systems, network printers, computers, office furnishings, conventions etc) has an opening for a management operations role in Tampa, FL.

SUMMARY:  As the Assistant Manager this individual will be responsible for complete co-operations of the location. The goal of this position is to provide co-management, working with the GM, in all areas of operations to be promoted in 12 months

responsibiliities:

*Interview, Hire, Train, Develop and evaluate employees
*Develop and implement strong Profit and Loss and Budgeting Skills
*Assist in the marketing strategy and participate in P&L meetings etc
*Work with warehouse, drivers, and staff providing leadership and assistance in all areas
*Ensure the standard operation procedures are followed
*Handle customer issues, provide strong customer service, and follow-up

ADVANCEMENT: Only promotes from within. Goal of this position is to develop and promote to GM within 12 to 16 months. Income for GM ranges between 55-80K range (Range takes in consideration size and volume of location)

OTHER
5 day work week - Off every Sunday and rotating 2nd day off during week and some Saturdays. No Nights, No Holidays.
All Major Holidays Shut down

REQUIREMENTS:
*Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Military, Additional work Experience, etc)
*2 years of assistant or general management experience
*Excellent communication skills with ability to work with customers at all levels
*Ability to relocate upon promotion to General Manager within 12 to 24 months
