ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR FOR BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT #7589

Center for Continuing Education

60% time

The Associate Director for Business and Management Program Development for the Center for Continuing Education is responsible for identifying educational needs in the business/organizational community that USM serves, and creating and building programs to address those needs. The associate director recruits, hires, trains, and oversees the work of any program specialists—part- or full-time—that may be needed to coordinate or develop specific programs within the Center, such as those associated with the special programs and conferences.

Qualifications: Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree and three to five years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and experience in adult education, curriculum design, or related area.  Preferred: Five or more years’ experience in educational program development at an institution of higher education, a corporate/organizational training department, or with a training/organizational management consulting service.
