As a result of an upcoming retirement, an opportunity exists for an individual to join them in the role of Branch Administrator. Working from their offices in Charlotte (Peachtree and Sunset Road area), this position calls for a communicative and positive minded person with 2 to 4 years experience in office administration and accounting related duties. The nature of the work requires well-developed data entry skills, experience with the most commonly used software (MS Office), a professional telephone manner and good people skills. Over the next 6 months, you would work alongside the existing Administrator and learn all aspects of the position.
This opportunity will appeal to a dependable team oriented person who enjoys a small office environment and can multi-task and prioritize a range of activities during the course of the day. Some of the responsibilities of this position are as follows:
· Entering time tickets, customer invoicing and accounts payable and purchase order information on a daily basis. Accuracy is required.
· Handling incoming phone calls in a professional manner, ensuring proper response to customer needs.
· Telephone follow-up with Customers on over due account and maintaining the accuracy of the Accounts Receivable file.
· Creating various system reports and meet month end data entry deadlines to ensure accuracy of these reports.
· Process Inspection reports and inspection logs accurately.
· Maintain office and customer files in accordance with established procedures.
· Support and assist the district management team in maintaining accuracy of the contract base.
· Conduct quality control calls in accordance with established procedures.
· Provide clerical support to the branch personnel as required. Support any special projects as requested by branch, district or corporate management.
· Coordinate the incoming and outgoing mail, including UPS/FedEx shipments, as needed.
· Manage office expense budget for branch, in conjunction with branch management.
Compensation will be in the $12 to $15 per hour range ($26,000 to $31,000 per year) plus a fully comprehensive employee benefit program which includes medical and dental coverage and a 401K program. Hours of work will be 8 AM to 5 PM.
