BUSINESS ANALYST III

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

•           Under minimal direction, researches and analyzes solutions to complex business processes and systems.

•           Creates business impact analysis and complex modeling dealing with the membership product forecasting model (scenario analysis - understanding impact to business decisions, pricing, and product mix), performance scorecards, and expense management, and incentive programs.

•            Manages small projects and develops new policies and procedures having significant impact on the entire division. 

•            Communicates business needs and information directly with department management, senior and executive management.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

•           Ability to work independently and in teams.

•           Must show some leadership skills and be a self starter.

•            Demonstrates strategic thinking and planning, creative problem solving, and handle multiple assignments based on time constraints.

•           Strong mathematical, management and reading skills to perform statistical analysis and to prepare reports.

•           Expert knowledge of software applications used for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation graphics, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Access and Power Point.

•           Must have excellent command of the English language and must be able to express oneself effectively, verbally and in writing, in person and over the telephone.

•           Must display strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees and others in a professional and tactful manner.

•           5+ years minimum experience with: developing operating models, working with performance measures, costs analysis, business case justification and business process improvement preferred.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
