  Known for its quality products and superior customer service, Hershey Ice Cream is currently looking for an AREA SALES MANAGER for our distribution warehouse and office in Baltimore, Maryland.

  This salesman’s territory will cover the Baltimore, MD & Washington D.C. areas.

THIS POSITION HAS 3 MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY.

 Develop and maintain our high level of service with each Hershey Customer in your sales territory through account merchandising, promotional and customer training demonstrations, and regular customer visits.Growing your territory by increasing sales for existing customers, prospecting for new business in traditional sales venues, and identifying new and uncharted areas for business development.When necessary you may be required to perform basic cabinet maintenance and delivery, delivery of product on a route truck, collection of customer balances, or telephone sales/order writing.

 

Qualified individuals must be hardworking, dependable, enthusiastic, and the ability to work independently. Candidates must have good driving record and be able to pass all DOT requirements if necessary. Previous sales, route and D.S.D. experience is preferred but not required.
