Position Description

The Associate, Business Development will support the day-to-day activities of the department and will work directly with the department’s project managers and writers to effectively deliver content and timely, accurate responses to requests for proposal (RFPs) and related projects. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to changing circumstances, manage various ongoing projects with multiple contacts, and be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

 

Primary Responsibilities

·  Assist in responding to RFPs (i.e., managing deadlines, incorporating stock answers, developing content)

·  Assist in the production and release of the proposal (i.e., printing, binding, and shipping)

·  Support Senior Director, project managers, and writers as needed

·  Maintain and update the department’s content library

·  Assist in managing deadlines for all content updates and calendars for all proposals

·  Proof department materials (e.g., RFPs, cover letters, presentations)

·  Interface with all departments within Health Dialog to obtain answers for proposals as needed

·  Review and refine content for proposal database

·  Schedule meetings and record meeting minutes

·  Other administrative duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree required

· Strong organizational skills, including time management and project management

· At least one year of work experience

· Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
