Job DescriptionLeverage and strategically position work output of a talented group of analysts at highest levels in client organizations Position and market existing products and services for higher returns; identify and help develop related products and services which draw upon core organizational competencies of analysis, data management, and information technology Identify and pursue broader business opportunities with current client base Develop new business with potential clients Serve as internal focal point for new business development initiatives within the company May need to guide and develop work product, produce marketing materials, and manage personnel
Required SkillsFour-year degree in Business, Economics, Math, Statistics, Psychology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; MBA degree may substitute for two years of experience Knowledge of new business venture operations to extend MSA reach beyond traditional business organizations Minimum ten years of experience in selling or buying analytical product/services at highest levels within an organization Experience within product/services sales including the development of target markets, effective prospecting, sales presentations, contract negotiations and closing sales Deep and wide knowledge of market for analytical services and industry contacts necessary to extend organizational reach into client organizations; CPG experience helpful Proven track record of extending marketing research and analysis services beyond traditional groups and/or organizations Able to work with technical and business people within and outside business analysis division to guide, develop and shape work product to client needs Highly articulate with technical, strategic, and communication skills to understand and position analytical products and services to their maximum advantage Ability to anticipate and help clients articulate their own business needs and translate into sales opportunities Take full ownership and accountability of own, and others', work
