Business Development Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hungry Business Development Mgr for a provider of IT Consulting Solutions that cover ERP (PeopleSoft, Oracle), Data Warehousing, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Process Improvement, Records Management, Project Management and more.
What you Need:
* Direct sales experience of minimum of 5+ years, in IT and business services consulting, having experience of selling IT Consulting services covering application development, quality assurance, implementation, integration, and maintenance services.
* Hunting to develop new clients is a CRITICAL must have skill.
* Develop and close sales transactions, specifically the sale of business services related to electronic data/records management, e-Discovery, data warehousing/archiving, and data storage management.
* This role will require direct marketing, presentations, demonstrations and contract (pricing and legal) negotiations.
* Highly knowledgeable of technology industry trends and strategies
Experience selling Business Intelligence ERP, CRM, and Supply Chain implementation/maintenance services is a plus
Should have met or exceeded an individual quota of $2M per annum sale quota in the most recent and previous assignments.
* Must have a proven track record of success in managing a territory and achieving revenue and/or profit goals.
* Possess a strong, active rolodex that is comprised of decision making executives requiring services within the IT and Business Management industry segments

What you will be doing:
* Identifying new clients and opportunities, prospecting and lead management.
* Negotiating contracts and closing opportunities.
* Seting up and managing partners in your territory.
Selling IT and business Consulting Services.
* Generating multi-million dollars sales leads in the target market segments for solution engagements.
* Qualifying and converting appropriate leads into potential accounts.
* Developing and penetrating the account, working sales cycles, negotiating and closing deals meeting budgeted sales projections.
* Overseeing and coordinating pre-sales activities: RFI / RFPs, etc.
* Continuously refining sales and business development strategies, given the market / account dynamics, to ensure that the pipeline of orders exceeds the forecast & budget.
* Preparing quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts.
