The Unites States Postal Service (USPS) is looking for individuals w/ a b2b channel sales background to be a part of strategic growth teams w/ USPS business partners. USPS Business Partners add value to logistical services in a variety of ways. Some specialize in integrated marketing strategy, others develop direct mail copy and graphics, others focus on mailing list selection and management while others print, sort and prepare communications for entry in the Postal system. Business partners provide value by enabling clients to use USPS services to achieve their client’s business objectives and enhance existing customer relationships, acquire new customers and fulfill customer needs.

The Business Partner Account Manager will be responsible for plan growth of a portfolio of Business Partner accounts and influencing strategic directions of account business growth. The successful individual will ideally have document high volume b2b channel sales success, be a pro at developing relationships at all levels of the organization including c level relationships and be a strategic thinker whose ideas resonate with his/her customers.

TITLE: BUSINESS PARTNER ACCOUNT MANAGER

The United States Postal Service has the following excellent and challenging employment opportunity for highly motivated and innovative individuals to work in our SALES office in MILWAUKEE, WI. Successful candidates must demonstrate through a combination of education, training, and experience the following requirements:


REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to use the Sales Management Process, market research and sales strategies to identify customer potential and business needs of assigned accounts and sales leads.

Knowledge of Postal products, services and applications sufficient to develop business solutions, resulting in new revenue.

Ability to use a customer relationship management system to track sales activity, and account performance of assigned portfolio for territory management, revenue retention and growth.

Ability to participate in cross-functional teams to meet U S Postal and customer needs.

Ability to use market and customer research to develop sales proposals, budget forecasts, and growth potential and customer revenue projections.

Ability to establish and maintain multiple customer relationships at key decision making levels to ensure USPS is a trusted business partner.

Knowledge of sales and service programs at a level sufficient to develop strategies to improve the Business Partner Sales Strategy program and CEI (Channel Effectiveness Index).

Ability to communicate orally and in writing complex presentations, correspondence, reports, customer briefings, and technical advice to internal and eternal key business decision makers.

Knowledge of sales and service programs at a level sufficient to develop strategic business plans and strategies to improve the Business Partner Sales Strategy program and organizational revenue.

Ability to manage activities in the implementation of strategic business plans and account activities such as competitor market behaviors, customer relationships, and service needs.



NOTE(S):
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in commercial, business to business, sales with large businesses and organizations. The Business Partner Account Manager will manage the deployment of sales strategies with a territory worth a minimum of $500 million dollars. The Business Partner Account Manager will manage a portfolio of Business Partner Accounts to achieve revenue growth and influence strategic direction within business partner accounts.

The salary range is $55,291 - $95,388. Salary will be based on previous experience, salary history, and current postal pay policies.
