Business Process Analyst

RGIS is the largest inventory and retail services company in the world and is growing faster than ever, with over 400 offices and 40,000 employees worldwide.  Our commitment to accuracy, integrity and reliability makes RGIS the service of choice for local businesses as well as Global 500 and Fortune 500 companies.We are seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst to join our company, as an integral part of our Business Process Team.  The Business Process Analyst is responsible for driving the corporate technology initiative within their respective functional areas of focus.  Business Process Analyst  are the subject matter expert within their defined area of focus, responsible for working with our functional business groups in order to continually align our applications to meet their changing business requirements.  Responsible for support and overall system solutions to meet our business needs.

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.

· Experience with Oracle Applications a plus

· Strong functional and technical knowledge of Oracle technology

· Ability to analyze and interpret business processes and data

· Ability to technically research and investigate application issues

· Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel and advanced features

· Effective communication skills including comprehension, written and verbal skills

· Ability to apply common sense understanding and use appropriate judgment in routine business situations 

· Ability to comprehend and carry out written and verbal instructions and processes as required

· Ability to use the following software packages or programs: Microsoft Office, SQL Navigator or Toad, Microsoft Projects.

· Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all duties.

 

Responsibilities:

· Ability to gather requirements, analyze business functions and to provide a solutions document

· Ability to create functional technical design documentation for use in development of business process changes and report creations.

· Experience in quality control testing for new development and application enhancements and upgrades including test plans and language testing

· Develop training materials and project productivity tools.

· Assists in the production of department briefings and presentations.

· Assists in establishing documentation standards for RGIS’ business applications.

· Coordinates field documentation publications

· Responds to support escalations from business leaders and Technical Support Departments

· Coordinates release e-mail with the Technical Support department for new applications/reports

· Assist with Oracle Application Patch management to keep Oracle applications in current rev levels

· Oracle Metalink TAR reporting and system administration

· Ability to use the following software packages or programs: Microsoft Office, Visio, Oracle data loading utilities, Unix.

· Additional duties as assigned
