Business Reporting Analyst

Additional information may be found at www.citigroup.com or www.citi.com Citi Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Citi") are equal opportunity employers M/F/D/V and do not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic.  Responsible for reporting and analysis Citigroup North America Collections Retail Banking Network operations, which manages delinquencies & losses on a $31B portfolio across 5 sites with approx 1100 employees.  Responsible for delivering information to the business via operational/executive reporting and analytics that drives decision-making related to financial performance & strategy execution.  Responsible for effective manipulation and calculation of data, which can be analyzed and turned into business information and presented to Sr. Management in the form of feedback with recommendations to improve performance.  Work with Collections Sr. Management & Risk Management independently on projects that impact the reporting capabilities and information requirements of the business and ensure all needs are met.  Must be able to translate reporting requirements between what Collections Management is asking for and the technology & tools necessary to deliver on those requirements.  Will interact with the data warehouse group to ensure enhancements can be made to the existing data warehouse, when necessary, so information can be provided to the business.  Understand and challenge the various process group strategies. The information listed within this description is intended to indicate the general nature and level of work. It is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive account of all the responsibilities, and/or qualifications required of an employee assigned to this position.  1-2 years experience with Cognos Transformer and PowerPlay Enterprise Server 7 or higher, modeling and designing cubes, relative time categories and using advanced functionality to increase cube build efficiency and performance, creating explorer and reporter reports with drill-through capabilities, creating Impromptu catalogs, and developing reports and queries for Impromptu Web Reports  4 year degree in Computer Science or Information Systems  Demonstrated development capabilities building complex cubes and reports  Hands-on experience with SQL Server databases  Excellent communication skills - written and verbal  Demonstrated ability and desire to respond quickly and efficiently to multiple, spontaneous business requestsFurther Details:The chosen candidate will posses the technical skills required to ensure technical excellence, the management skills to efficiently manage multiple projects and resources across those projects, and the inter-personal skills to build liaisons and establish relationships with other groups.
