Washington Street, Milwaukee, WI 53214Please apply at our website: http://brookdaleliving.com/careers.aspx Summary:Execution of business application development projects with PeopleSoft Financials and the subsequent support of those applications.  This position also offers excellent project management opportunities.  The ideal candidate will be developing proficiency in PeopleSoft financial application development with specific skills in Application Designer, SQR, PTools, strong SQL and other skills. Ideal candidate will posses experience in PeopleSoft Financial and AR modules.





Key responsibilities include: Performs analysis and design tasks related to both new and existing applications and business projects.  Works with the application team, IT department and business users throughout the organization as appropriate to define business requirements, coordinate resources and to seek input and feedback.  Supports testing of business applications within the company’s system/regression test environment by maintaining comprehensive test plans, developing project-specific system test plans and assisting with test plan execution for quality assurance. Serves as primary resource for application support issues.  Troubleshoots and resolves problems, and properly documents issues and resolutions.  Identifies existing and/or potential project and system issues, and formulate systematic solutions to meet business requirements. Manages and performs a wide variety of non-routine and diverse system analyses requiring the use of business and technical problem-solving skills.  Develops and modifies application ad-hoc and standard reports using Cognos, SQL, FormulaOne and SQR.  Projects may be completed independently or with support of developers, fully utilizing the appropriate technology within the company’s Participates in 24x7 duty rotation. We seek the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.  At least 4 years experience in business application development or related business experience using standard development tools and languages.  PeopleSoft ERP with experience in the Financial AR module preferred. Experience in the analysis and design of complex business applications and solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, commitment to quality and methodical attention to detail. Experience developing effective testing scripts.  Cognos or BI experience helpful. Experience with Oracle DBMS, XSL, Crystal Reports, HTML, MS Access and MS Office.
