CDL Drivers and Helpers

Rut's Moving & Delivery Services needs CDL drivers and laborers. Applicants will provide driving and/or manual labor moving operations. Operations include operation of vehicle, manual lifting, packing, transporting, and unloading of household furniture and office equipment.

 

Essential duties include, but are not limited to,

 

-Reporting to locations at assigned times

-Operating the vehicles in a safe and efficient manner


-Sizing loads, using judgment to move safely, avoiding injury or property damage

-Supervising work crews

-Completing required paperwork, logs and time slips

 

Qualification Requirements

 

Education and Experience:




Drivers: CDL License and at least two years related driving experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Helpers: Experience preffered.


 

Language Skills:

Ability to read, speak, analyze and interpret basic English documents. Ability to respond effectively to inquiries and complaints. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and customers.

 

Other Skills and Ability:

Ability to work well with others as a team.

 

Physical Demands:

 Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
