CONTRACT/SUBCONTRACT MANAGER

KIRA INC. HAS AN OPENING AT FORT BELVOIR, VIRGINIA FOR A CONTRACT/SUBCONTRACT MANAGER.  THE JOB DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS:

 *Negotiates, awards and administers subcontracts, purchase orders and service orders in accordance with the SCA, DBA, FAR, and DFAR.

*Administers subcontracts and purchase orders from the pre-bidding process through completion and closeout.

*Processes for services, specialized materials and equipment in concert with the various skilled trades and administrative departments.

*Establishes and maintains DCAA audit ready compliant files.

*Salary will be commensurate with work experience, education and training. Excellent compensation and benefits package offered including 401K & bonus.

Must have a minimum of five (5) years previous government subcontracting work experience. BOS contracting and/or construction background is preferred. Knowledge of SCA, DBA, FAR and DFAR is required. Knowledge of FFP and T&M contracts is required. Must have a minimum of high school diploma or GED. Must have and maintain a current valid drivers license. Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug test. Must have strong (intermediate) computer skills. Must have the physical ability to move around construction sites.
