CONTRACTS AND PURCHASING MANAGER - Los Angeles, CA

Salary: $7,024 - $8,730 Monthly (DOQ), plus excellent benefits.  Since 1948, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles (CRA/LA) has been Los Angeles' public partner in housing, commercial, neighborhood and economic development. CRA/LA is dedicated to revitalizing, refurbishing, and renewing economically underserved areas of Los Angeles.  CRA/LA seeks to hire a Contracts and Purchasing Manager.

 

This position will plan, organize, and direct the contract administration and purchasing activities for CRA/LA and will provide training and direction to department staff. 

 

Qualified candidates will have eight years of increasingly responsible, directly related experience in contract administration, procurement management, or a closely related area, including three years in an increasingly responsible supervisory or managerial capacity. Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university, in business administration or a closely related field. Coursework in government contract administration, government contract law, purchasing and legal aspects of purchasing, or equivalents must be included. A graduate degree in a closely related area is desirable. Possession of a valid California State Driver’s license and a good driving record.
