Certified Coding Specialist

We are a medical billing organization with an unyielding commitment to provide our clientele with superior service. We are currently seeking experienced full time certified medical coders. Ideal candidates will demonstrate significant expertise with ICD and CPT coding.  Duties may include auditing and/or assigning diagnostic and procedure codes to patient records to ensure complete, accurate billing for medical services rendered. Perform retrospective audits of medical records to ensure compliance with current industry standards for coding and billing.







EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES2+ years Medical Coding experience, radiology preferred. Certification preferred In depth knowledge of ICD9, CPT and medical necessity policies. Comprehensive understanding of coding, compliance and reimbursement policies Excellent knowledge of medical terminology  Good organizational skills Ability to multi-task Professional attitude and work ethic Basic computer skills
