IDC is looking for a Client Service Representative to work closely with the sales force and IDC’s Industry Major Accounts customers. The CSR role plays a key function on the team and is a primary liaison between the customer and the organization.
The Client Services Representative will be responsible for pre and post sales support of a designated client base which currently buys approximately $10,000,000 of IDC products and services. Specifically, this position will involve assisting the sales team with pre sales support of proposal generation and post sales support which includes processing and booking of orders, assisting clients with IDC.Com, resolving invoice issues, directing of research inquiries, as well as, other client and sales support activities. The successful person will have superb customer service that will ensure high renewal rates and new business opportunities. This positions will report to a Group Vice President of Sales, who is based in Chicago.
A bachelor's degree or associates degree or equivalent experience required. Must be proficient with computer skills and able to adapt to and learn new software and web-based systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is a must. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of previous experience as a Customer Service Representative in the Information Technology or Telecom industry. This position is based in IDC’s Framingham, MA office location.
