Clinical Information System AnalystYonkers, NYSystems Analyst will work with team to support clinical application for hospitals. Will start learning well-documented components of the application and grow into a role of ongoing production support.Position Description:Systems Analyst (various levels) to work on various patient care systems which include:• Electronic Medical Record systems (inpatient, outpatient, nursing home)• Capacity Management application Responsibilities may include:• General clinical systems maintenance• Documentation• Changing screens as per specifications• Analyze and record patient flow in user areas• Writing queries to validate system setup, reports• Document test plans• Execute test plan• Support clinical system • On-Call Support (pager rotation)• Monitor error queuesTechnical Skills Required:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience• Ability to analyze a problem and come up with a solution• Application support experience• Customer service experience• Excellent written and communication skills • Proven ability to work under pressure• Ability to multi-thread• Excellent analytical skillsOther Qualifications: • SQL proficiency a plus• Working knowledge of any programming language a plus• Experience developing and/or maintaining any of the EMR systems a big plus • Experience developing and/or maintaining any of the patient registration or scheduling systems is a big plus• Ability to change screens and system tables using any commercially available tools is a big plusEOE - M/F/V/D.No agencies, please.Qualified Applicants send resume to: clinicalitjobs@emerginghealthit.com
