Commercial Lender Summary

Develop and retain commercial business independently, meeting with larger and more complex prospects and customers in a designated region to a larger sales goal. Make calls, gathers financial and general business information, performs financial analyses needed to make credit decisions, participates in team credit decisions and communicates with prospects and customers to close sales. Consult with more experienced lenders or management in more unusual situations. Maintain in-depth knowledge of commercial and other company products and services, including complex loan structuring, documentation and legal coordination and can cross sell wide variety of related offerings without guidance. Maintain established market presence and large network of outside referral sources for new business. Ensure that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on company intranet. Policies include, but are not limited to: Fair Lending; Know Your Customer; Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.
