Composites Engineer

Stork Technimet, a nationally recognized materials testing laboratory specializing in testing and failure analysis of metals and polymeric materials, has an immediate opening for a Composites Engineer to continue our unprecedented growth.


The responsibilities will include managing and executing materials testing projects designed to assist client companies in all facets of composites usage, including:

failure analysis
material selection
deformulation
specification testing 


Additionally, he/she will be asked to assist in client support and business development as well as marketing activities.
Experience in mechanical and analytical testing of composites materials analysis is required. Knowledge of composite materials failure analysis and processing is beneficial. Educational background should be a BS or higher in a polymer related field, such as chemistry, materials science, or polymer science. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and highly motivated self-starter. Being able to work in a fast paced environment is a must.
