Apex Companies, LLC, a national provider of environmental, health, safety, and engineering services, seeks a self-motivated, multi-faceted Construction Technician for our office in Urbandale, IA.

 

This full-time position requires 1-3 years of professional work experience and general mechanical and hands-on abilities.  A background in Environmental science or previous experience with agricultural/construction equipment is helpful.  Environmental/storm water management experience and OSHA Hazwoper training are a plus.  PC skills required.

Duties include environmental sampling, inspections, and report preparation, remediation system maintenance and repair, general hands-on labor, management of subcontractors, and assistance with bid preparation.  Work in both field and office settings.  Extensive Midwest travel required.

Qualified candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.  High school diploma or equivalent required.
