Consulting Analyst

We have the following opportunity for a Consulting Analyst in our Professional Services group.

 

Review, analyze and evaluate clients’ business systems and needs to implement software projects and business-to-business solutions.  Meet with clients to determine requirements; collect document and prioritize business and operational requirements.  Work with client management, IT and/or business are associates to develop various solution alternatives to defined business needs.  Recommend optimal solutions based on business, systems and industry requirements.  Interface with OCS and/or client developers and others to explain requirements and recommend solutions and to resolve issues.  Participate in and/or lead efforts to develop and execute testing, training, documentation and/or communication plans.

 

Candidates for this position should possess the majority of the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree; MS/MBA a plus; and four or more years of related experience.Experience with n-tier, enterprise wide development in a Microsoft environment.Experience providing analysis for ERP or systems of similar complexity.An understanding of IT’s impact on business processes.Must be a highly motivated, self-starter.Excellent problem-solving skills.Flexible and able to work with changing processes and handle multiple, conflicting priorities.Excellent customer relation and interpersonal skills.Strong communication and writing skills.Knowledge of the licensing business.Knowledge of order entry, CRM, customer portals and finance.Ability to handle periods of intense worldwide travel.

 

Candidates for this position should also have a basic understanding of the following technologies:  Java, HTML, ASP IIS, web class technology, SQL database technology and object-oriented modeling, analysis design theory and practice.
