Join us today for an inspired and purposeful mix of professional growth opportunities and personal rewards. CONTRACTING ANALYST - ALBUQUERQUE, NM The incumbent is responsible for supporting the use, management and communication of provider contract-derived information by establishing and maintaining contract databases and by preparing standard and custom reports and analyses used by others in delivery systems management. Financial goals (e.g. control medical cost trends, profitability) as defined by the Medical Expense Team. The delivery system is cost effective, marketable, stable and offers broad access. Success in building financial models for the heath plan. Comparative analysis reports. Increased financial information to contracting staff. Establishes PC or mainframe databases of contract information used in provider network processes. Works with provider network staff to identify appropriate categorization of contract information such as contract type, effective dates, reimbursement methods, and product types. Evaluates contracts on an ongoing basis for financial impact at the plan level. Identifies medical cost trends and assists in the development of action plans to correct unfavorable trends. Analyzes financial performance through modeling of fee schedules and contract rates. Analyzes competitive data and develops benchmarks. May be involved in the training of others on database systems enhancements. Demonstrates capability to get results in a complex, often ambiguous environment. Takes and manages risks. A minimum of three years of progressively more responsible experience in finance, contractual analysis and/or data analysis with strong preference for managed care experience.
